1.4.3 Contrast (Minimum)
Text needs a contrast ratio of at least 4.5:1, large text 3:1.
What this means in practice
Large means 24 px or above, or 18.7 px when bold. Logos and purely decorative text are exempt. The single most common failure – and one of the few that can be measured exactly.
